Introduction

Our skills programmes are specifically tailored for people already in the Health Science industry or students who cannot afford the full year programmes. These programmes seek to equip the learner with skills needed for the provision of primary health care before and after professional medical assistance is provided to the ill &/or frail. Upon graduation, one can work in hospitals, hospices, old age homes, children’s homes etc where you can assist the professional health worker in patient care/nursing care.

Title: Primary Health Care Giver

Min. Entry: Grade 9 and 10, Abet NQF level 4

Duration: 6 months

Title: Home Based Care

Min. Entry: Grade 9 and 10, Abet NQF level 4

Duration: 3 months

Title: Care Giver

Min. Entry:Grade 8, Abet NQF level 3

Duration: 4 months

  • On successful approval of application, pay registration fees & receive confirmation of  acceptance together with Student Number.
  • Attend orientation day, complete & sign the registration form.
